Frank Delano Marcum

Franklin (Frank) Delano Marcum, 74, of Duncan passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2019 in the Duncan Regional Hospital.

Services will be 10:00 AM Friday in the Bethesda Church of God with Reverend Harold Metheny officiating. Interment will follow in the New Velma Cemetery under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home.
The Stephens County Honor Team will confer the Military Honors and the precession will be escorted by the Patriot Guard.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 6-8 PM on Thursday.
Frank was born November 8, 1944 at Mansfield, Missouri the son of Samual and Violet (Wood) Marcum. He graduated from the Willow Springs High School in 1962. He served in the United States Navy from 1962 to 1966. He and Sue Wood were married at Colton, California on July 15, 1981. He worked as a glacier in California and retired from the Stephens County District 2. He enjoyed Horseshoes, working on his truck, bowling and spent many hours working with Reverend Harold Metheny working on the Bethesda Church of God of which he was a faithful member. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include his wife Sue Marcum of the home; son Wesley Lightle of Dallas, Texas; two daughters Michelle Nelson and her husband Jim of Gilbert, Arizona and Suzie Lightle of Duncan, Oklahoma; granddaughter Vanessa Lightle of Duncan, Oklahoma; siblings George Marcum, Rosie Marcum and Alvan Marcum.
Pallbearers will be Steve Nunn, Barri McCauley, Rick Hodges, Damon Lovett, Frank Kelley and Rick Bowman.
