Jean Allen, 76, of Duncan passed away Saturday, July 17th, 2010 at her home in Duncan. Services will be 10:00 AM Thursday in the City Heights Baptist Church with Reverend Jerry Bradley and Reverend Sherman Raines officiating. Interment services will be held in the Granite Cemetery at 2:00 PM. Services are under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home from 6-8 PM on Wednesday. Jean was born September 11, 1933 at Delhi, Oklahoma the daughter of Flittie Nichols and Emma Laverda Moch McBride. She and Bruce Allen were married at Duncan, Oklahoma on June 8, 1984 and he preceded her in death on April 11, 2006. She worked as a meat wrapper with the United Market in Altus, Oklahoma for 19 years retiring in 1978. She was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church for 25 years joining the City Heights Baptist Church when she came to Duncan and was a charter member of the Women of the Moose. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Melva Hughes and Jackie Martin and her brothers Sonny and Robert McBride. Survivors include three daughters Vicky Triplett and her husband Frank of Cypress, California, Darla Jones and her husband Donnie of Houston, Texas and Jacki Bell Jackson of Duncan; a son Larry McClellan of Duncan, Oklahoma; grandchildren Guy Allen, Terra Triplett-Kettler, Scotty Triplett, Chad Jones, Chris Jones and his wife Stephani, Natalie Burning, Jenna Gallardo and Jaclyn Gallardo; great grandchildren Cody Haps, Bailey Haps and Jacob Kettler. Pallbearers will be Sam Dennis, Kirn Werner, David Wright, Marion Woolsey, Jack Green and Tom Alexander. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Vanderslice, Earl Wright, Zachary Crank, Scotty Triplett, Rick LAnd and Jeff Walker. Online condolences may be made at www.bailespolk.com
