Drew Cutler

Drew was born at Capitol Hill Hospital on October 23, 1946 to Jack M. Cutler and Gloria Fritze William. After Fritze early death, Francis Wood became his mother. Drew was proceeded in death by his parents and his beloved sister, Debra in June 2016. Drew is survived by a sister Linda Sue Cutler Eldridge and two brothers Russell Bullock and Charles Cutler. Drew was married to Sharon Bright on his 25th birthday so he would not forget their anniversary on October 23, 1972. Drew and Sharon made their home in Oklahoma, California, and Nevada. Drew and Sharon had two sons Shawn and Jonathan. They were lucky enough to have two grandchildren Wade and McKayla. Their parents are Shawn and Jamie Salzman. Shawn remarried to Melisa blessing him with another grandchild Ariele. Drew was baptized on December 21, 1980 in Mission Viejo, California. Sharon and Shawn were baptized the same day. Drew loved the Marine Corps. He enlisted in 1966. He served in Vietnam 1969-1970. He was an Aviation Supply Clerk. Drew returned to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and worked as printer at Liberty National Bank where he met Sharon for the first time. When she walked away from Drew after the first meeting he turned to his work mate and told him "I am going to marry that girl." And he did. Drew retired from the United State's Marine Corp in March 1991. He then moved to Velma Oklahoma in 1997. The family moved on to Enid Oklahoma. Drew worked at Jumbo's Foods. He was then lucky enough to get another job on a military base. He was always more comfortable working on a base. In 2012 Drew, Sharon, and Jonathan moved to Reno, Nevada to be closer to Shawn and his family. Drew had pneumonia off and on for the last three months of his life. He came home for the hospital on July 1, 2016. The first thing he asked was, "where is my granddaughter?" McKayla was the apple of his eye and she came for a visit. She walked in and said, "What do you want a big hug?" Then on July 4, 2016, Drew passed away. On what other day would a patriotic marine go out than this one?
