Donna Maxwell

Donna (Net) Maxwell, 50, of Velma passed away August 25, 2018 at her home in Velma surrounded by her loving family.
Memorial services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, September 20, 2018 in the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home with Reverend Glenn McGee officiating. Inurnment will be held later in the Katy Cemetery.
The family will receive friend for visitation on Wednesday from 6-8 at the home of Kenneth and Angela Maxwell.
Net was born August 18, 1967 in Duncan, Oklahoma the daughter of Kenneth Maxwell and Donna Grimm. She graduated from the Velma High School in 1985. She was a homemaker who loved spending time with her grandchildren and taking photographs. She was greeted in Heaven by her granddaughter Kensi Harris, paternal grandparents Fred and Pauline Maxwell and maternal grandparents Harold and Maxine Grimm, uncles Carlis Eugene Maxwell, Freddie Tilley, Sr. and her aunt Karen Giroux.

She is survived by her parents Kenneth and Angela Maxwell and Donna Duvall all of Velma; three children Steven Harris of McKinney, Texas, Jayme Harris and Kristie Harris both of Velma; sisters Kim Southerland and her fiancé of Clay Hollock of Plano, Texas; Kristie Gardner and her husband Laramie, Kenna Maxwell, and Tracy Lovelace all of Velma; three grandchildren Axl Harris, Cooper Smith and Ayden Brasseaux;

Honorary Pallbearers will be Freddie Ray “Shug” Tilley, Jr., Laramie Gardner, Clay Hollock, Taylor Robinson, Charles Weeaks and Luis Reyes.

The family has requested memorial contribution be made to American Caner Society and the Chisholm Trail Hospice.
