Dianna Fay Stanford Ortego, 55, of Duncan passed away Tuesday, November 29th, 2011 in the Duncan Regional Hospital. Dianna was born February 17, 1956 in Marksville, Louisianan the daughter of Patrick and Mercy Dale Manuel Stanford. She met Curtis Ortego Ville Platte, Louisana and they were married April of 1997 at Ville Platte, Louisiana and he preceded her in death in May of 2008. She attended the Evangeline Academy in Ville Platte, Louisiana. She was an LPN and work as a Home Health Care Nurse for many years. She came to Duncan in October of 2009 to be near her daughter Michelle Monroe. She was a member of the Stone Chapel CME Church and love collecting and going to garage sales. She was also preceded in death by her parents Patrick and Mercy Dale Manuel Stanford. Survivors include her daughter Michelle Monroe and her husband Reverend Lacy Monroe of Duncan, Oklahoma; two sons Shawn Ortego and his wife Toni of St. Landry, Louisiana and Curt Oretgo and his wife Holly of Turkey, Louisiana; grandchildren Megan Ortego, Cory Causey, Gavin McGee, Victoria Monroe, Curry Ortego, Jasmine Ortego, Angel Ortego, Justin Ortego, Amber Ortego, and Katelynn Ortego; 3 great grandchildren; two sisters Kay Bertrand and her husband Earl of Chataignier, Louisiana and Roxanne Fontenot and her husband Rickey of Basile, Louisiana as well as numerous nieces nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
