Charlie Joseph Szenasy, Jr.

Charlie Joseph Szenasy, Jr., 81, a former long time Athens, Texas resident passed away Saturday, December 7th, 2013 in the Duncan Regional Hospital Duncan, Oklahoma. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Thursday in the Meredith Campground Cemetery near Athens, Texas. Services are under the direction of the Bailes - Polk Funeral Home Duncan, Oklahomna. Visitation will be Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 AM to 4 PM at the funeral home. Charlie was born September 16, 1932 in Navarro County, Texas the son of Charlie Joseph Szenasy, Sr. and Ruth M. (Waters) Szenasy. Charlie and Lee were married in Navarro County, Texas on November 5, 1954. He enjoyed working in the yard, gardening and traveling. He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter Emily Ann Williams. Survivors include his wife Lee of the home in Duncan; daughter Ruth Williams and her husband Ted of Duncan; a granddaughter Ashley Williams and her husband Mitch of Frisco, Texas and grandson Donny Williams of Forney, Texas.
