Charles P. Sears

Charles Paul Sears, 82, of Comanche passed away Saturday, August 15, 2020 in the Wilkins Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday in the Bethel Assembly of God Church with Reverend Ron Meador and Reverend Ray Leadbetter officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery at Comanche under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends for visitation Monday form 6-7 PM at the funeral home.

Charles was born September 5, 1937 at Comanche, Oklahoma the son of Harold and Lenora (Roebuck) Sears. He and JoAnn Rogers were married in Corona, California on January 26, 1963 and she preceded him in death on June 28, 2006. He retired from the chemical vat department at Halliburton. He loved hunting, fishing, bird dogs and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and was a faithful member of the Gospel Beams Church. He was also preceded in death by his parents, brother LeRoy Sears and grandchildren Kyle, Vanna and Kody Sears.

Survivors include his sons Kevin Sears and wife Cyndi and Keith Sears and wife Carmen all of Duncan; sister-in-law Wilma Sears of Duncan; grandchildren Justin Sears of Edmond, Kristopher Sears, Jessica Hernandez and Jared Sears all of Duncan and great grandchildren Kylor, Kortlyne, Madalyn, Kollins and Kexton Sears.
