Carole Lawanna Sullins

Carole Lawanna Sullins, 85, of Comanche passed from this life Friday, January 29, 2021 in the Duncan Regional Hospital. Services will be 1:00 PM Monday in the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home Chapel. Carole was born May 21, 1935 in Vinson, Oklahoma the daughter of Oscar Oliver and Lydia Avaline (Dorough) Rogers. She graduated from the Hollis High School in Hollis, Oklahoma in 1954. She and L.J. Sullins were married in Childress, Texas on February 15, 1953. She enjoyed bowling, crocheting, sewing, singing and dancing and teaching her children and grandchildren to cook. She was preceded in death by her parents, twelve siblings and an infant grandchild Georgia Holbrook. Survivors include her husband L.J. Sullins of the home in Comanche, Oklahoma; children Ava Christian of Comanche, Oklahoma, Larry Sullins and wife Terri of Comanche, Oklahoma, Alisha Brittain of Comanche, Oklahoma, Glenn Sullins and wife Kym of Sayre, Oklahoma and Angela Baggett of Comanche, Oklahoma; 14 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; a brother Oliver Rogers of Ft.
