Bobby Joe Boles, 79, went to be with our Lord and Savior on August 5, 2010 in the Integris Hospice House at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Service will be 10:00 AM Monday in the Gospel Beams Church with the Reverend Ray Ledbetter officiating. Interment will be in the Duncan Cemetery under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home from 4 - 6 PM on Sunday. He was born in Drumright, Oklahoma on February 22, 1931the son of Lester N. and Mary E. Fraley Boles and came to the Duncan area as a child. He attended the Empire Schools. He and Eula Dene Lovett Conner were married at Marlow, Oklahoma on November 19, 1993. Bobby was an ordained minister and member of Gospel Beams Church. He taught Bible for 55 years in various churches, one being Gospel Beams Church. By trade, he was a machinist and owned Southern Machine Works in Duncan for many years. He enjoyed sports of all kind and was an avid Golfer.He was preceded in death by a brother, Otis Boles and his mother and father Lester N. and Mary E (Fraley) Boles. Survivors include his wife, Deanie of the home, four sons and daughters-in-laws, Richard and Debbie Boles of Midwest City, Michael and Lisa Boles of Edmond, Johney and Pam Boles of Arkansas and Rickey and Pam Boles of Arkansas, one daughter Karen and her husband Edward Pulido of Edmond, nine grand-children and two great-grand children; two brothers Bill and Wanda Boles of Duncan and Pete and Sue Boles of Marlow, one sister, Lillie Chasteen of Duncan, a sister-in-law, Ruth Boles of Tennessee, several nieces and nephews and many friends.
