Bobbie Taylor

Bobbie Nell Taylor, 80, of Duncan, Oklahoma went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, March 24, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family.

Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday in the Ray of Hope Church with Reverend Matt Chambers and Ladd Polk officiating. Interment will follow in the Rock Creek Cemetery under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home from 5-7 PM Wednesday.


Bobbie was born February 12, 1944 in Paoli, Oklahoma the daughter of Bobbie and Nellie Gertrude (Smith) McLearen. She graduated from the Central High, Oklahoma High School in 1961. She and Jimmy Wayne Taylor were married June 16, 1961 at Pumpkin Center, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death on December 14, 1999. She worked as a claims processor for the Universal Fidelity Life Insurance Company for 27 years and worked as a sale clerk for Crutcher's Western Wear in Duncan for nearly 15 years. She enjoyed dancing, working the flower beds, raising cattle, going to her grandchildren's events and most recently driving her Polaris Ranger. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother.Bobbie Nell is survived by two children: Earl Wayne Taylor and wife Kelly of Duncan; Dianna Harrison and husband JC of Cache. Four grandchildren: Cody Taylor and wife Kayse of Duncan; Jason Pollock and wife Sara of Marlow; Kenny Taylor and wife Sarah of Duncan; Trevor Pollock and wife Kristina of Choctaw. Five great-grandchildren: Kynlee and Kutter Taylor; Brooklyn Pollock; Karson Taylor and Deegan Pollock; siblings Beverly Pettijohn of Fletcher, Oklahoma, Benny McLearen of Marlow, Oklahoma, Onis McLearen of Marlow, Oklahoma, Roger Mclearen of Duncan, Oklahoma, Randy McLearen and wife Dianna of Mansfield, Texas and Sheila Wright of Stafford, Oklahoma. She has also been blessed with a great sister-in-law Doris Taylor of Duncan.
