Billy Joe Sellers

Billy Joe Sellers, 84, of Noble of former long time Duncan resident passed from this life Saturday, November 23, 2019 in the Norman Regional Hospital.

Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday in the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Harold Metheny officiating. Interment will follow in the Resthaven Memorial Garden Cemetery.

Billy was born June 3, 1935 at Walters, Oklahoma the son of Gardie and Minnie (DeHart) Sellers. He and Juanell Orr were married at Walters, Oklahoma on May 9, 1954 and she preceded him in death on May 2, 2019. He was a retired carpenter who enjoyed fishing, camping, bird hunting, riding horses and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Bethesda Church of God. He was also preceded in death by his parents, brother and grandsons Rocky Pettyjohn, II and Justin Sellers.

Survivors include sons Michael Lewis Sellers and his wife Becky of Pottsboro, Texas and Geary Wayne Sellers of Woodward, Oklahoma; daughters Brenda Lanell Pettyjohn and her husband Rocky of Maysville, Oklahoma and Stefani Nichols and her husband Tony of Moore, Oklahoma and Marni Shaw of Woodward, Oklahoma; grandchildren Dawn Sellers, Ryan Nichols, Kelly Sellers, Nathan Nichols and Caylon Shaw and his wife LeEsta; great grandchildren Alexis Shires, Brodie Sellers and Zandryn Keller-Shaw; brother Jerry Sellers of Temple, Oklahoma and sister Sue Kerbow of Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Nichols, Kelly Sellers, Caylon Shaw, Alexis Shires, Gaylon Brumley and Brodie Sellers.
