Billy Jo Turpin

Billy Jo Turpin, 49, of Duncan passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2013 in the Duncan Regional Hospital. Services will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday in the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home Chapel with LAdd Polk officiating. Services will be under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home. BIlly was born February 28, 1964 at Clinton, Oklahoma the son of James E. and Faye (Casto) Turpin. He and Patricia Priest were married on April 5, 1982 . He was a long haul truck driver and oil field operator and he attended the Westside Christian Church with his sister in law Peggy till he got sick. He loved fishing, working on models and driving his semi truck "blue Volvo" and his white dodge pick up. He was a friend to all he meet and helped everyone he could. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and four brothers. His survivors include his wife Patricia of the home in Duncan; two sons Cody and Todd Turpin both of Duncan; two daughters Candice Grape and her husband Troy of Healdton, Oklahoma and Shelby Turpin and her fiance Colby Vaughn and grandson Billy Tate Vaughn of the home in Duncan; four granddaughters Sheri' Sims, Katelyn Sims and Breanna Sims all of the home in Duncan and Hayle Turpin of Healdton and step granddaughters Annissia Grape, Mia Grape ; a great granddaughter Lillian Grace of Healdton, Oklahoma and a sister Carolyn Rose McCoy of Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Many Other Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, Great Nephews, Sister In Laws, A Mother-N-Law, a special niece, "Jessica Priest" that he helped raised, and close friends (adopted sons, daughters, and grand kids that came to the house and called him Dad and Papa) and they all loved him dearly!
