Bettye Jayne Lawrence

Betty Jayne Lawrence, 86, of Jones passed away Sunday, July 3, 2011 in the Oak Hills Care Center in Jones, Oklahoma. Services will be 10:00 AM Friday in the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Randy Southerland officiating. Interment will be in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Betty was born April 3, 1925 at Milo, Oklahoma the daughter of Ira W. and Olga Pearlee Caldwell Redding. She and Edgar Lawrence were married at Henrietta, Texas on June 22, 1946 and he preceded her in death on June 7, 2007.She worked as a cashier for Goodners in Duncan, enjoyed sewing and gardening. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a son Randy Lawrence. Survivors include two sons Rick Lawrence and his wife Kathy of Aledo, Texas and Rodd Lawrence of Jones, Oklahoma; a brother Duane Redding of Lawton, Oklahoma; two sisters Pat Goodman and Peg Sanderson both of Duncan; two grandsons Russell Lawrence and his wife Stephanie of Ft. Worth, Texas and Robert Lawrence of Sherman, Texas; a granddaughter Sheilla Lawrence of Lexington, Ok; great grandson Reece Lawrence and great granddaughter Madison Lawrence both of Ft. Worth, Texas. Pallbearer's will be Russell Lawrence, Robert Lawrence, Dugan Hines, Bobby Gillispie, Mark Goodman, Jim Cox, Scott Gillispie and Reece Lawrence. Online Condolences may be made at www.bailespolk.com
