Bettie Jane Martinez, 85, of Duncan and former long-time resident of Lawton passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2020 in the Elk Crossing Nursing and Rehabilitation. Services will be 11 AM Saturday in the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home with Keith Riddles and Reverend James Miller officiating. Internment will follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery at Comanche. Social distancing will be observed at the services. The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home from 5:30 to 6:30 on Friday Bettie was born May 13, 1935 in Burkburnett, Texas the daughter of Elzy Clayton and Clarita (McKinney) Ainsworth. She and James Marty Martinez were married at Lawton, Oklahoma and he later preceded her in death. She worked in retail sales at the Ft. Sill PX and was a Grandy's Grandma. She enjoyed playing card games and dominos and was a member of the Elks Lodge Doe's. She was also preceded in death by her parents, daughters Judy Riddles and Karen Mahan, sister Billie Caldwell, Brother J.C. Ainsworth, granddaughter Regina and great grandchildren Trevor and Morgan. She is survived by her daughters Beverly Eaton of Duncan; Carrie Martinez of Lawton and Mary Nottingham of Meridian; grandchildren Mikayla, Shelly, Kendra, Eric and Shawn; great grandchildren Aaron, Kaitlin, Hailey and Lauren and son-in-law Keith Riddles.
