Benny Joe Robinson

Benny Joe Robinson, 74, of Marlow passed away Thursday, August 1, 2013 at his home in Marlow. Services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday in the Hope Church with Reverend Gary Ramer officiating. Interment will be in the Hope Cemetery under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for visitation from 6-7 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Benny was born September 23, 1938 at Riverside, California the son of Earnest Elmer and Margrett (Sisson) Robinson .He graduated from the Poly High School in Riverside, California in 1957. He and Genita Qualls were married in Mariloma, California on June 14, 1958. He loved music, tinkering with mechanical items and doing wood crafts. He was a member of the Hope Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters. Survivors include his wife Genita of the home in Marlow; two sons LaDell Robinson and his wife Chang of Moore, Oklahoma and Gary Robinson of Marlow, Oklahoma; a daughter Leatha Brown and husband Nelson of Duncan; a brother Duard Robinson of California; three sisters Blanche of California, Martha Ramer of Arizona and Joan Larson of Texas; six grandchildren Jamie Brauer, Chris Hall, Randall Hall, Ronnie Robisnon, Donnie Robinson and Alysha Hall and five great grandchildren Cody Gensamer, Jaydin Brauer, Anthony Braue, Olivia Hall and Trace Hall.
