Barbara Louise Scott

Barbara Louise "Poodle" Scott, 70, of Duncan passed away Monday, November 12th, 2012 in the Wilkins Nursing Center. Service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday in the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Brian Womack officiating. Interment will be in the Duncan Cemetery. Barbara was born August 4, 1942 at Murfresboro, Tennessee the daughter of Charlie and Mary Foster. She graduated from the Murfresboro High School in Murfresboro, Tennessee. She worked until her retirement as a Nursing Tech at the Murfresboro Regional Hospital. She loved spending time and was the caregiver for he family. She loved to bake, cook and attended the Bellwood Baptist Church in Murfesboro. She came to Duncan July of 2006 from Murfresboro to be near her grand children. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant son. Survivors include two sons Randall J. Scott of Duncan, Oklahoma and Robert K. Scott of Murfresboro, Tennesse; a daughter Jill S. Scott of Duncan, Oklahoma; two brothers Kenneth and Larry Foster both of Murfresboro, Tennessee; ten grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren as well as many friends.
