Barbara J Shipman

Barbara Jean Shipman, 84, of Comanche passed away Thursday, April 23, 2020 in the Meridian Nursing Center.

Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Saturday in the Marlow Cemetery with Reverend Mike McCord officiating. Services under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home.

Barbara was born September 21, 1935 at Central High, Oklahoma the daughter of Warne and Pauline(Ezell) DeWitt. She and Donald L. Shipman were married at Wichita Falls, Texas on July 22, 1952. She was an Avon Representative for many years, arranged and help serve funeral dinners and was a faithful member of the Ray of Hope Church. She and her family loved spending time at Lake Texoma skiing. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband Don Shipman of the home; children Donald Shipman, Jr. and wife Tammy of Empire, Oklahoma, Ronnie and Sherry Shipman of Marlow, Oklahoma and Kim Loughridge of Meridian, Oklahoma and grandchildren Clay, Cole and Jesse Loughridge, David Shipman, Courtney Clayburn and Ron and Jerade Shipman.
