Anna Bell Barnes

Anna Bell Barnes, 85, of Duncan passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2017 in the Country Club Care Nursing and Rehab. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Friday in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home. Roger Walkingstick will officiate. The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home from 6-8 PM on Thursday. Anna Bell was born September 24, 1932 at Walters, Oklahoma the daughter of Robert Clarence and Ella Mae (Abbe) Brown. She and Audley Preston Barnes, Sr. were married at Duncan on December 3, 1949. He preceded her in death on October 2, 2000. She was a member of the Randlett, Oklahoma Church of Christ, enjoyed playing Bunco, going to chicken shows with her son Andy and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include Son Andy Barnes and wife Darla of Comanche, OK. Son Audley Preston Barnes Jr. and wife Tereasa of McAlister, OK. Grand-son Kolton Barnes of Richardson, TX. Grand-daughter Heather Thomas and husband J of Duncan, OK. Grand-daughter Robyn Little and husband Casey of Wichita Falls, TX. Grand-daughter Krystal Scott and husband Ben of Weatherford, TX. Grand-daughter Traci Boehm and husband Kyle of Gilmer, TX. Eleven great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
