Alvin Virgil McQuilliam, 76, of Duncan passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at his residence in Duncan.

Alvin was born April 22, 1944 at Camp White, Oregon the son of Carl A.V. and Eunice (Wheeler) McQuilliam. He and Roberta Overton were married April 12, 1991 at Gainesville, Texas. He worked as a roust about and pumper for the L.E. Jones and Vi-Roy Oil Companies as well as a farmer and rancher in Stephens County. He enjoyed fishing especially noodling, camping, general outdoor activities especially his cattle. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved spending time with his family. He always enjoyed looking to see where a new road led. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Freddie, sisters Wynonna, Avis and Sandra and two grandchildren Joseph and Loren.

Survivors include his wife Roberta McQuilliam of the home; children John McQuilliam and wife Sharon of Yellowstone National Park, Betty Brister and husband Keith of Martinsville, Virginia, Glenda Bustamante and husband Louie of Pernell, Oklahoma, Dwayne Franklin and wife Sherrie of Hoxie, Kansas, Raymond Franklin and wife Gayla of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Kandra Boteler and husband Tim of Arvada, Colorado; 23 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; siblings John S. McQuilliam of Harper, Texas, Linda Castleberry and husband Roy of Duncan, Oklahoma, Mary Jo Baird and husband Richard of Duncan, Oklahoma, Carl McQuilliam of Grand Prairie, Texas and Teresa McQuilliam of Grand Prairie, Texas.
