Reverend Alvin Clark, 90, of Duncan passed away Thursday, March 11, 2021 in the Country Club Care Nursing and Rehabilitation. Memorial Services will be 1:00 PM Friday, April 2, 2021 in the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home Chapel. Alvin was born October 5, 1930 in Oakwood, Oklahoma the son of Lloyd and Esther (Stowe) Clark. After graduating from high school he attended the Life Bible College where he received his ministerial degree. He was a member and preacher in the Four Square Gospel Church all his life. He ministered in the Four Square Gospel Church in San Antonio, Texas and Guymon, Oklahoma and served as the Secretary, Treasure and Associate Pastor of the Duncan Four Square Gospel Church. He and Maryette (Cornell) were married in Guymon, Oklahoma on October 24, 1950 and she preceded him in death on December 12, 2018. He enjoyed fishing, playing guitar and singing, reading the Bible, preaching, spending time with family and drinking coffee. He and Maryette were foster parents to numerous children over their life time. He was also preceded in death by his parents, a brother and sister. Survivors include his son Owen Clark and wife Hazel of Duncan, Oklahoma; daughter Karen Iness and husband Roy of Duncan; grandchildren Randy Clark and wife Lori, Stephanie Gordon and husband Bryan, Terri Clark , David Clark, Toby Clark and wife Kasey and John Belshe; 25 great and great great grandchildren and brothers Kendell Clark of Guymon, Oklahoma and Wendall Clak and Wife Robbie of El Paso, Texas.
