Alton Aubrey Thompson

Alton Aubrey Thompson, 60, of Duncan passed away Saturday, June 18th, 2011 at his home in Norman. Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday in the Ray of Hope Church with Reverend Mike McCord officiating. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery at Comanche under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home. The Family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home from 6-8PM on Tuesday. Al was born October 15, 1950 at Duncan, Oklahoma the daughter of Aubrey and Addie Thompson. He and Patti Nesmith were married at Atoka, Oklahoma on April 10, 1972. He was a member of the Ray of Hope Church, enjoyed collecting coins and antiques. He was a manager at EMJ Metal Company in Duncan. He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew Ty Nesmith. Survivors include his wife Patti Thompson of the home; a daughter Christi Thompson; a son Michael Thompson and his wife Mandy; Grandsons Judah Thompson, Maddox Thompson, Beckham Thompson; a sister Ann Armstrong as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
