Wynda Marie Corp

Wynda Marie Corp, 86, of Comanche passed away Friday, January 21, 2022 in the Country Club Club Care Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday in the Ray of Hope Church with Reverend Mike McCord officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home.

Wynda was born November 17, 1935 in Harmon County, Oklahoma the daughter of Lathen and Ruby (McGee) Withers. She and Ray Corp were married April 19, 1952 in Gutherie, Texas and he preceded her in death September 25, 2009. She worked for the Haggars factory in Temple for several years. She and Ray were longtime members of the Ray of Hope Church. She loved working in the church especially leading vacation bible school. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, painting, doing word search puzzles and studying her bible. The most important thing n her life was her Lord and Savior and her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Carolyn Johnson and her husband Jimmy and son Mike Corp.

Survivors include her son Robert Corp and his wife Sheila of Duncan, Oklahoma; her daughter Diane Absher and husband Laurance of Comanche, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren.

Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
