Shirley Willson

Shirley Kay Willson, 72, of Duncan passed from this life Wednesday, November 23, 2022 in the Grady County Memorial Hospital.

Services will be 1:00 PM Monday, November 28, 2022 in the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home with Reverend Reggie Creekmoore officiating. Interment will follow in the Duncan Cemetery.

The family will recieve friends for visitation at the funeral home from 5-7 PM Sunday.

Shirley was born August 8, 1950 in Duncan, Oklahoma the daughter of Cecil L. and Rita M. (Paschall) Youngblood. She and Floyd Willson were married January 13, 1968 in Wichita Fall, Texas. She worked as a house keeper for the Holiday Inn in Duncan, enjoyed watching TV, working cross word puzzles,loved spending time with her family and she was a Christian of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Floyd Willson, brother Jimmie Youngblood and great grandson Connor Sessums.

Survivors include three daughters Sherry Sessums, Carol Willson, Nancy Welch and her husband Jimmy all of Duncan; two sisters Joy Lister and Patsy Gray both of Duncan; brother Ken and his wife Mary Youngblood of Corum; nine grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, nieces, cousins and a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be Gilbert Riedel, Jaxon Riedel, Steve Nunn, Mike Sweetman, Jacob Sessums and Chris Gideon.
