Ronald Duane Whitten

Ronald Duane Whitten, 89, of Dallas, Texas passed from this life Monday, July 3, 2023 in the Fowler Community Center in Dallas Texas.

Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, July 6, 2023 in the Duncan Cemetery in Duncan, Oklahoma with Reverend Travis Stewart officiating. Services are under the direction of Bailes-Polk Funeral Home.

Ronald was born in Duncan, Oklahoma July 13, 1933 the son of Clifford and Frances (Morris) Whitten.

He and Alyce Hutcheson were married November 28, 1959 in Dallas, Texas. He received a Bachelor and Law degree from the University of Oklahoma and worked as a Corporate Attorney. He enjoyed watching the news, weather and reading the newspaper. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife Alyce Whitten of the home in Dallas, Texas children Carolyn Whitten and her husband Alan Keizur of Washinton, David Whitten and his wife Jennifer of Texas and Sarah Whitten and husband David Trevino of Kansas; grandchildren Christopher Keizur, Elizabeth Keizur, Mark Whitten and Adam Whitten; brother Gary Whitten and wife Fay of Texas and their children Cara and Staci Whitten.
