Rigoberto Varela

Rigoberto Varela, Jr., 51, of Duncan, Oklahoma passed from this life Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at his home in Duncan.

Services will be 11:00 AM Friday in the Duncan First Baptist Church with Reverend Jesus Celleros officiating. Interment will follow in the Duncan Cemetery under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home from 6-8 PM on Thursday.

Rigoberto was born April 2, 1971 in Juarez, Mexico the son of Rigoberto Varela, Sr. and Gloria (Campos) Varela. He worked as a meat processor for Golria's Processing in Marlow, enjoyed weight lifting and loved going to the park with his children. He was preceded in death by his mother Gloria Varela.

Survivors include his father Rigoberto Varela, Sr. of the home in Duncan, Oklahoma; his brother Samuel Varela; sisters Marisol Sanchez and Alejandra Crispin; daughters Alejandra McKinney, Daniela Varela, Gloria Varela and Elisa Victoria Varela and a son Rigoberto Varela, III.
