Richard Alvin Pruitt

Richard A. "Rick" Pruitt, Jr., 72, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed from this life January 1, 2022 in the Oklahoma Veterans Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Services will be 2:00 PM Friday in the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home Chapel with Ladd Polk officiating. Interment will follow in the Claud Cemetery. Rick was born January 15, 1949 in Duncan, Oklahoma the son of Richard Alvin Pruitt, Sr. and Retha Jean (David) Pruitt. He served in the United States Army and love car races and fishing. He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents Buck and Iva Pruitt and Frank and Mae David. Survivors include his mother Retha Jean McCuistion of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; sisters Carolyn Manning of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Kay Vinson of Wynnewood, Oklahoma; aunts Nadine Williamson of Duncan, Oklahoma and Betty Turvey of Prinston, Louisiana; nephews Ricky Vinson and family of Sulphur, David Vinson of Wynnewood and Michael Manning and family of Shawnee, Oklahoma and niece Tonya McCalip and family of Edmond, Oklahoma.
