Nora Louise Cox Wilcox, 90, of Duncan passed away Sunday, July 15, 2012 in the Duncan Regional Hospital. Services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday in the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home Chapel with Bother Dale Howry of the Chisholm Trail Cowboy Church. Interment will be in the Duncan Cemetery. Nora was born January 3, 1922 at Lampasas, Texas the daughter of Walter Howard and Mamie Bell (Crawford) Huggins. She worked as a beautician and was a member of the East Side Church of Christ, Order of the Eastern Star, Women of the Moose and a member of the High Fashion Women's Bowling Team. She enjoyed baking, bowling, square dancing and raising her children was her greatest joy. She was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters and three brothers. Survivors include two sons Fred Cox, Jr. of Addington, Oklahoma and Charles Cox of Pink, Oklahoma; four daughters Barbara Davis, Jeannie Bowden and her husband Bo, Yvette Downey and Yvonne Shannon and her husband Junior all of Duncan; a brother Jim Huggins of Mansfield, Texas; a sister Evelyn Hutchins of Clarkston, Washington; numerous grand and great grandchildren as well as a host of friends.
