Noma Files

Noma I. Files, 93, of Duncan, Oklahoma passed from this life Wednesday, March 20, 2024 in the Gregston Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday in the Cornerstone Assembly of God Church with Reverend Thomas Snavely officiating. Interment will follow in the Duncan Cemetery under the direction of Bailes-Polk Funeral Home.

Noma was born September 27, 1930 the son of Samuel Fred and Nettie (Steele) Goddard. She and Edward T. "Dick" Files were married May 6, 1965 in Medford, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death on August 2, 2004. She was a homemaker and member of the Cornerstone Assembly of God Church. She was also preceded in death by her parents, daughter Jill and sons Bobby and Billy Ray.

Survivors include her sons John Lynn Booth of Duncan, Oklahoma and Sam Booth of Woodward, Oklahoma and eight grandchildren.
