Linda Salazar

Linda Salazar, 20, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma a former Duncan resident passed away Monday, November 7th, 2016 in rural Stephens County, Oklahoma. Service will be at 10:00 AM Saturday in the Assumption Catholic Church with Rev. Peter Jandaczek officiating. Interment will follow in the Duncan Cemetery under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Friday with a rosary service to be held from 6-8 PM. Linda was born June 4, 1996 at Duncan, Oklahoma the daughter of Guadalupe Alvarado. She graduated from the Duncan High School in 2014 and she had just received her Certified Medicine Assistant Certification and loved helping people through her job at the Elk Crossing Nursing and Rehab. She enjoyed listening to music, singing, drawing, art and spending time with her daughter. She was a member of the Assumption Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband Victor Alvarado of Oklahoma City; her daughter Cristal Sanchez; parents Guadalupe Alvarado and Jack Alvarado of Lawton; her aunts Teresa Cabello -Corp and her husband Keith of Comanche, Viviana Garland and her husband Raymond of Duncan, Josey Alvarado, Dena Alvarado, Mary Alvarado, Alvina Azola, Eva Pichardo and Rose Laguna all of Temple and Sally Santos of Wichita Falls; her sister Kristi Alvarado of Lawton; brothers Robert Salazar, Roger Alvarado and Eduardo Alvarado all of Lawton and maternal grandmother Ana Cabello Huizar of Duncan. Pallbearers will be Jack Alvarado, Robert Salazar, Roger Alvarado, Raymond Garland, Keith Corp, Jordan Arzola and Victor Alvarado. Online condolences may be made at bailespolk.com
