Grady Cauthron

Grady Lee Cauthron, 86, of Duncan passed from this life Sunday, February 11, 2024 in the Wilkins Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday in the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home Chapel with Ladd Polk officiating. Interment will follow in the Duncan Cemetery.

Grady was born March 12, 1937 in Wister, Oklahoma the son of Ezra and Iona Cauthron. He was retired from the United States Navy. He and Florence Alma Delk Turner were married in Duncan, Oklahoma on February 5, 2015. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working outside, carpentry and reading his Bible. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and four brothers.

Survivors include his wife Florence Alma Cauthron of the home in Duncan, Oklahoma; children Pamela Lee and husband Peter of San Antonio, Texas, Connie Hess and husband Tom of Miramar Beach, Florida, Greg Cauthron of Scottsdale, Arizona, Hope Cauthron of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Faith Rottmayer and husband Larry of Freeport, Florida; eight grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; step children Randall Turner of Duncan, Oklahoma, Micheal Turner and wife Jennifer of Duncan, Oklahoma, Stephen Turner and partner Michael Marshall of Duncan, Oklahoma and John Henry Turner of Duncan, Oklahoma; fourteen step grandchildren, numerous great and great great step grandchildren; and two sisters Retha Houck and Margaret Salazar both of Shawnee, Oklahoma.
