Geraldine Wanda Buycks

Geraldine Wanda Adams Buycks, 60, of Duncan passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2012 in the Integris Baptist Medical Center at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Graveside funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday in the Fort Sill National Veterans Cemetery under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home. Geraldine was born February 11, 1952 in Denver, Colorado the daughter of Zembre and Lucenda Adams. She attended the Douglas High School and Worked for Oklahoma Christian Homes as a Medicine Prescription Nurse for many years prior to her retirement in 1994. Geraldine has departed us to soon. She was always the life of the party and the brightest light in the room with her big smile. She was involved in community volunteer as an advocate for the elderly and abused children. She enjoyed playing dominoes and cards and a hostess for entertaining family and friends. Her love was flowers, plants and gardening. She always had a green thumb. She will be deeply missed. A loving mothers memory will be cherished by sons Paul Lamar Holloway and Robert Holloway both of Duncan; a step-son Dwight Byucks of Tatum; Sisters Jacqueline A. Adams Fulsom, Karen Adams Breath, Colleen Wade Adams, Colletta Wade Allen all of Oklahoma City, Constance Adams Harper of Dallas, Texas; brothers Donnie Ray Adams, Ricky Wade both of Oklahoma City, Johnny Adams of Pryor , Oklahoma and Harvey Wade of Tulsa, Oklahoma; a granddaughter of Oklahoma City, A special Aunt Joyce Cardina ofOklahoma City and a special first Cousin Faye Pasley of Oklahoma City as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Hobart Holloway and Scott Buycks, a son Timothy, two sisters and a brother.
