Roy was born on Thursday, November 7th,1946 in Basile, Louisiana to Willis Guillory and Della Holland. He enjoyed swimming and riding horses while growing up in Kinder, Louisiana and parts of Texas. Roy left Halliburton and moved to Texas where he began a career driving a truck over the road. After retiring from truck driving, he settled back home in southern Louisiana until 2018 when he moved back to Oklahoma near his daughter, Jami, who cared for him until his passing.
