Claude Leroy Montgomery

Claude Leroy Montgomery, 83, of Comanche passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Duncan Regional Hospital. Viewing will be Saturday from 12-3 PM in the Patterson Avenue Baptist Church in Comanche with private family memorial services to follow. Services are under the direction of Bailes-Polk Funeral Home. Claude was born October 23, 1937 in San Diego, California. He received his construction and master carpentry training in San Diego. He and Wanda Moore were married in Comanche, OK on June 12, 1999. He enjoyed carpentry work, restoring his vintage Chevy cars, and playing with his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, and son-in-law Kendall Whittington. Survivors include his wife of 22 years Wanda, his children Shirlene Whittington, Eddy Montgomery and wife Fonda; his stepchildren Brian Bearce and wife Deborah, Bubba Bearce and his wife Lenetta, Christie LeMaster and her husband Chris, Michael Moore and his wife Suzanne, Ashley Floyd, and many, many, many well-loved grandchildren and great grandchildren.
